Terms and Conditions for RWF Currency Transfers

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to any transfer where the destination currency is Rwandan franc (RWF).

By initiating a transfer with RWF currencies, you agree to the following terms:

Rounding of Values

No Cents in RWF Currency:

• The amount made available to the recipient will not include cents. These currencies do not utilize cents in their denominations.
  Rounding Policy:

• After conversion from the original currency, the converted value will be rounded to the nearest whole RWF franc (as applicable) according to the following rules:
  • If the converted amount includes a fractional part less than 0.50, it will be rounded down to the nearest whole number.
  • If the converted amount includes a fractional part of 0.50 or greater, it will be rounded up to the nearest whole number.

Examples of Rounding

An amount of 10.49 RWF will be rounded to 10 RWF.

An amount of 10.50 RWF will be rounded to 11 RWF.
