Terms and Conditions for XOF/XAF/RWF/TZS/KES Currency Transfers

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to any transfer where the destination currency is Rwandan franc(RWF), Tanzanian Shilling(TZS), Kenyan Shilling (KES), West African CFA franc(XOF), Central African CFA franc(XAF).

By initiating a transfer with XOF/XAF/RWF/TZS/KES currencies, you agree to the following terms:

Rounding of Values

No Cents in XOF/XAF/RWF/TZS/KES Currencies:

• The amount made available to the recipient will not include cents. These currencies do not utilize cents in their denominations.
  Rounding Policy:

Rounding Policy:

• After conversion from the original currency, the converted value will be rounded to the nearest whole XOF/XAF/RWF/TZS/KES (as applicable) according to the following rules:
  • If the converted amount includes a fractional part less than 0.50, it will be rounded down to the nearest whole number.
  • If the converted amount includes a fractional part of 0.50 or greater, it will be rounded up to the nearest whole number.

Examples of Rounding

An amount of 10.49 XOF/XAF/RWF/TZS/KES will be rounded to 10 XOF/XAF/RWF/TZS/KES.
An amount of 10.50 XOF/XAF/RWF/TZS/KES will be rounded to 11 XOF/XAF/RWF/TZS/KES.
