MANAGER – IT

Reporting to Dy. COO
Basic Function Plans, directs and manages the activities of the IT Department, comprising of Hardware and Software areas.
Job Profile
  • Develop the existing IT set-up to meet the international standards
  • Advise management on technology decisions & architectural directions
  • Define and implement standard develop methodologies and processes
  • Assess emerging technologies and make recommendations to the Management in order to incorporate the new technologies in future.
  • Contribute to overall strategic direction and vision of the Group
  • Advise on the human resource requirements for the IT personnel (both hardware and software) and their skill-sets
  • In-charge of IT Department for both Hardware and Software requirements of the company
  • Troubleshooting in Hardware/Software areas
  • Maintenance of the existing Software packages and development of new software, as required from time to time.
  • Supervision and Training of IT staff for effective support
  • Review of software / hardware requirements and updation of the same
  • Procurement / issue of computer related items and consumables to users
  • Interaction with other Department Managers for their software / hardware requirements
Minimum requirements
  • A degree in Computer Science
  • 10 years experience in managing IT Department
  • Good Knowledge of English and Somali languages
  • Age : Not more than 40 years
1 Job Title CHIEF ENGINEER – ELECTRICITY

3 Reporting to Dy. COO
4 Basic Function Plans, directs and manages the Electricity services
5 Job Profile
  • Responsible for generation and distribution of electricity consumption
  • Procure, store and issue electrical items required for generation and distribution of electricity
  • Direct/Supervise the Electricians in laying of cables and other jobs pertaining to electricity lines & equipments
  • Enlarge customer base
  • Troubleshooting & fault attendance
  • Recommend technology developments and generation of electricity through non-conventional energy such as wind mills
  • Strict adherence to safety regulations pertaining to electricity and provide guidance to subordinates
  • Monitor raising of bills for the electricity supplied to customers and collection
  • Report any accidents to the Management
6 Minimum requirements
  • A Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 10 yrs experience in Electricity Dept in managerial position
  • Sound knowledge in English & Somali Languages
  • Computer literate
  • Age: 40-45
